RECOMMENDATIONS ON HEALTH CARE REFORM:
URGE LAWMAKERS TO MAKE
SWIFT AND COMPREHENSIVE CHANGE
Members of the Business Advisory Council (BAC) called on Connecticut lawmakers to
enact swift and urgently needed changes to the health care system. At the press
conference at the Legislative Office Building late last week, the room was full of
representatives interested in learning about the BAC’s recommendations.

Business Advisory Council's Parameters on Healthcare Reform
The Business Advisory Council (BAC) is made up of business leaders including small business
owners, leaders of business associations and individuals who work within larger businesses. The
BAC has been meeting, studying, and deliberating on the issue of comprehensive health care reform
since November, 2006. Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut has been the facilitator of
these meetings, but the recommendations are purely the BAC's own.
